Anyone on a road trip with me knows that I will stop just to pick a wildflower on the side of the road, and that the sound of a birdsong is as sweet to me as any composed music. I love the life that God has given me with my husband of 49 years. Together we have three grown and married children and 6 grandchildren, all who love and serve the Lord. I enjoy afternoon tea time, preserving flowers, decorating my table with lovely tablescapes, and many other creative endeavors, but my greatest love is spending time with my family and enjoying how each one is using their gifts and growing in faith. Psalm 145:4-7 is the motivation for this blog. “One generation will commend your works to another and tell of your mighty acts” Whether it is sharing my faith walk with my family, or chatting with you over tea time, my desire is to declare God’s faithfulness.

I have known and walked with the Lord Jesus Christ since giving my life to Him as a young girl, and discovering the depth of my Savior’s love for me continues to be a life long journey. I love my bible and am passionate about sharing the truth of the scriptures in creative and enjoyable ways, one of which is hosting afternoon tea in my home for women and young girls needing encouragement.

I’ve had the privilege of teaching women’s fellowship groups, wisdom for mothers classes, and shepherding your child’s heart classes. These days I find great joy in putting the kettle on, bringing out my best china, wonderful tea treats, and mentoring others to show them how their faith in Jesus Christ can be joyfully passed on to the next generation. I love to nurture women and make them feel as special as God says they are.

I’m thrilled that you are here having tea time and devotions with me. I want you to feel welcome, and my hearts desire is that you realize you are special and unique and that God loves you.
