Welcome What if you could hold up your tea cup and have Jesus pour for you? What if, with every pour, the Holy Spirit infused you with His love and His truths? This is what Tea with Jesus and me is all about. The desire to fellowship with you during tea time came while I was having my afternoon tea time devotions and heard the words of an old hymn… “here’s my cup Lord, I lift it up Lord, come and quench this thirsting of my soul, bread of heaven feed me till I want no more, here’s my cup, fill it up and make me whole”. I want to lift the cup of my heart to the Lord and have Him fill me with His Holy Spirit every day, and if you’re on this site, you do too. I invite you to join me for tea time with Jesus. Pour yourself a cup of your favorite tea. Get your favorite cookie or tea cake, and be sure to bring your Bible to the table. Each time we visit I will be sharing interesting devotions and scriptures that enlighten the wonderful ways our Savior reveals His love to us through the every day events in our lives. Sometimes we will have tea time devotions on the beach, at times we might have tea in a garden, or a barn in a field, we might even carry our 3 tier server out into the woods and have tea time devotions under the trees. I will be sharing tea time treats, tea selections, recipes, and afternoon tea table decor with you. We will take virtual walks together during our tea time devotions, enjoy butterflies on flowers, bird sounds out the window, and even discover how getting caught in a traffic jam can speak to us about our Savior’s love. Tea with Jesus and me is all about opening our eyes to see that our Lord talks to us every day and shows us His love in many creative ways. My purpose for sharing personal and intimate stories from my life with you is to help you to be aware of all the marvelous ways God can speak to you in your own life. I desire to help you look at all the events that make up your day, and have eyes to see that God can speak to you in the midst of them. So put the kettle on, and find your place at the table. Tea time with Jesus, and you and me, is about to begin.
